Online Spiritual Formation

Kolping spiritual formation is a great way to get in touch with the community. During the year, the spiritual preparation for Kolping members can be done only twice in a year, and it is done online so that they can discuss with each other and gain spiritual strength. Especially during the season of Lent, it guides us to walk with Christ and to do frugality, charity and praying. A spiritual book will be published for those members who cannot attend. During the 6 weeks of Lent, K-members gained spiritual strength and were able to observe the moral virtues.

Hygiene awareness

A personal hygiene education program has been implemented as one of Kolping Myanmar’s health care programs. Along with artificial seasonal changes, many areas are affected by natural disasters and displaced people need health care due to the extreme weather. Kolping Myanmar’s awareness work was carried out by distributing personal hygiene items, which are the main needs of displaced people. Efforts will be made to continue providing the health care services they need.

Mom and Child Health Care awareness

After passing the Corona period, we went to places that still need a lot of health awareness and conducted awareness programs in order to reduce further infections.Among them, mothers and children were selected as the target group and provided health education and medical treatment. The villages of Myanmar still have health care that they still need, and Kolping Myanmar has made it possible for them to support them from the other side. Emphasis on the slogan that health will be the country’s prosperity, it is a direct action for the beauty of our environment.

Daily Life of Kolping members during lent

During Lent, spiritual teachings will be held every Saturday in order for the members of the Kolping family to achieve spiritual progress and to follow the practices of Lent. We invite you to pre -register to follow the teachings of National Praeses of Kolping Myanmar, Fr. Daniel Htay Yee, and express the unity of the Kolping family by joining together during Lent. We will start on February 17,2024.

Kolping Sewing Training Center

I was a student at Ss. Peter Paul Sewing Training.It was great because I got to learn from the basics, and now I can look at pictures and sew my own designs.Sewing is the basic level to learn. According to sewing by learning to draw, we will be able to develop the design what we want. That basic sewing course is taught at St.Peter and Paul sewing training center. If you want to be as basic as I am, let me invite you to reach out.

Han Chi Chi will identify the local brand

Among the many people who left their homes amid the political turmoil in Myanmar, a young woman started to launch a small local brand called Han Chi Chi. As a member of the Kolping Association, She did not have the opportunity to continue her schooling, so she had to learn a bit of tailoring from her Mom. While studying tailoring, her dream of becoming a businesswoman gradually awakened. So, she continued to attend advanced tailoring classes and began to establish a local brand. She applied to Kolping Myanmar’s microfinance program for the necessary capital and introduced her product to young women. Her products have been selling well and she is cooperating with Kolping Myanmar to upgrade his products again.

Helping Each Other

Because of the coldness of winter, they are very cold, and at night they build a fire to get warm. However, due to the speed of the battle, the village chief did not ask them to make a fire at night, so they all slept in warm clothes. The essential clothing and warm clothes were delivered to the evacuees from Kolping Myanmar. We pray to God to ease the cold for them.
